Wow, were do I begin. The past month as gone by so quick and did I mention that Mark and I are so in love with our precious little girl Blaire Elizabeth. We thought we had prepared ourselves for what would take place on March 24th, little did we know we were so unprepared. As expecting parents we talked about how we thought things would be, but we realized it is so much greater than we could ever expect. As we sat in the O.R on Wednesday March 24th, our lives as we knew them changed. As I play back the video, that Mark took that day, I am overcome by emotions. Emotions of a young couple who both were scared to death at the thought of having a c-section and then the enormous excitement that overcame us both as we heard and got the first glimpse of our little girl. I will never forget hearing the excitement in Marks voice as he saw her for the first time, and then the feeling I felt as I laid eyes on her. Wow!!! Talk about love at first sight. God is so good! Below are just a few highlights of our first month as three.
